Established in 1996, the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) makes a difference through enterprise learning and skills development. It works to support the learning and skills development of prospective and current owner-managers of small businesses and those professionals supporting the development of enterprise and entrepreneurship. We do this in different ways including being the government recognised sector skills body for business enterprise and enterprise support in the United Kingdom.
There are three key elements to the business: research and standard-setting; development and delivery of regulated qualifications; support for continuing professional development amongst enterprising individuals, organisations and communities. Key areas of work and expertise include: the development of occupational standards; the development of qualifications; development of apprenticeship standards; development of bespoke programmes of learning; researching enterprise learning and skills development needs; mapping of business and enterprise support and learning and skills development; strategic reviews; development of enterprise learning and skills resources.


ISQ – Institute for Technology and Quality is a Portuguese private and independent organisation, not for profit, founded in 1965, which provides scientific and technological support and promotes ongoing improvement, innovation and the safety of people and property in Industry and Services, with an international presence and vocation, holding branches and companies in more than 40 countries worldwide, ensuring its sustainability and the development of its employees.

ISQ is also accredited to certify people according to ISO 17024 and our laboratories are certified by ISO 17025. ISQ is a Board member of EVBB (European association of VET Centres) and is member of SOLIDAR (European Association for Social Justice in Europe).


TREBAG Intellectual Property and Project Management Ltd. (TREBAG) is a SME in Hungary that has been dealing with Erasmus, lifelong learning and other EU projects for over 15 years. The activities of TREBAG have a multidisciplinary character ranging from project foundation to the implementation of results and dissemination. The scope of these activities includes development of vocational training materials and methodologies including e-learning, implementation of technology transfer and innovation chain management, organization and management of various R&D projects, R&D and management consultancy, web development and design among others.
Social issues and wellbeing are important for us: in 2010 TREBAG Ltd created the Nagykovácsi Innovation lodge and the Well-being Living Lab which became a member of European Network of Living Labs in 2011.
TREBAG have participated in several projects related to non-formal education and gained lot of experience and valuable knowledge in handbook/guide/manual writing, development of e-learning and blended-learning training materials and online serious games. The AGROPOLY online serious game platform we developed and designed for PLENTIS project won Prize of excellence 2017 for educational gamified material.

Meath Partnership is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the design and implementation of local, rural and community development programmes in County Meath, Ireland. We specialise in building the capacity of local communities through the design and implementation of a range of projects and programmes tackling persistent incidence of exclusion and disadvantage. We are also responsible for the implementation of the LEADER Rural Development Programme in our territory, and focus on improving the economic, social and cultural quality of life through the creation of sustainable rural communities in County Meath through the provision of capital investment, training opportunities and mentoring support for the development and expansion of micro-enterprises, social enterprise and local businesses. We hold charitable status and currently employ 27 full-time staff.
